About us

INDIA IS FULL OF FLAVOURS. SO WHY DO OUR SHELVES ALL LOOK THE SAME?

Beku started when we stumbled upon something that felt both exciting and frustrating — India is full of under-utilized crops and forgotten fruits that people remember from childhood, but rarely find anymore. Think mulberries from your grandmother’s backyard, or starfruit sliced with salt on a hot day. Nostalgic, right?

But somewhere along the way, these crops just… vanished. Not because they weren’t valuable, or loved, or delicious — but because no one built resilient supply chains to support them. Global trends became the go-to, and local treasures took a backseat.

We wanted to change that.

So, we hit the fields. We spoke to farmers, understood their challenges, and worked our way up — from the soil to the shelves. That’s what we bottle at Beku: not just flavour, but trust and care. Every jar is rooted in community, climate resilience, and a deep belief that Indian ingredients deserve a place on the world stage.

Because reviving these flavours isn’t just about food. It’s about memory, identity, and pride. It’s about helping people reconnect with the joy of growing up here, and showing the world what India really tastes like.

We’re so glad you’re here. Let’s bring these flavours back — together.
